The Trumò Libri is the prototype of a series of five limited reissues designed on the 1950 model, one of the first examples of collaboration between Gio Ponti and Piero Fornasetti. Predecessor to the iconic pieces still being produced today, its components in Italian walnut-briar with a vintage taste converse with the elegant black and white decorations applied by hand in line with the Atelier’s tradition.

The matrices used by Piero Fornasetti in the early years to print his decorations come back to life in the Litomatrice collection. Based on an idea by Barnaba Fornasetti, the series enhances the precious archival masters turning them into decorative elements that testify the Atelier’s history and creating a limited number of unique pieces of art.

The Fornasetti Store on corso Matteotti is hosting an artist’s showcase exclusively for Milan Art Week. Carlo Dell’Acqua, who, like Fornasetti, has succumbed to and has become obsessed with Lina Cavalieri’s face, has manipulated it and pieced it back together in his “S/oggetti parziali” installation, which can be viewed until April 14, 2019.
