The Quirinal Palace houses two iconic Fornasetti furniture items

1 July 2019

Two iconic pieces of Fornasetti furniture will enrich the residence of the President of the Italian Republic, on the occasion of the “Quirinale Contemporaneo” project.

From 5 July, the Trumeau “Architettura” and the Curved Table “Libri” will permanently embellish the rooms of the Palazzo, together with other 20th century works of art and design.

The collection, created on the initiative of the President of the Republic, aims to be representative of Italian genius and excellence in the artistic and design spheres.

In particular, the Curved Table “Libri” has been selected for Sergio Mattarella’s personal study in the Palazzina del Fuga.
