Complesso Monumentale della Pilotta
Piazza della Pilotta 15,
Parma

Fornasetti kicks off with culture and inaugurates today the new exhibition “Fornasetti Theatrum Mundi” at the Complesso Monumentale della Pilotta in Parma, open until 14 February, 2021.

The exhibition is a dialogue between the architecture and artworks of the Complesso Monumentale della Pilotta and Fornasetti’s boundless creativity; a network of references and suggestions that give life to a “theatre of the world”, as the term was understood in the sixteenth century; an encyclopaedic vision of knowledge that leaves the imagination free to understand, reconstruct and interpret the world.

A truly layered journey between the classic and the modern, between past and present, which is part of the Official Programme of Parma Italian Capital of Culture 2021+21 and which is perfectly attuned to the theme of this edition: “Culture is the beat of time”.

The exhibition is curated by Barnaba Fornasetti, artistic director of the atelier, Valeria Manzi, co-curator of cultural projects and president of the Fornasetti Cult Association, and by Simone Verde, director of the Complesso Monumentale della Pilotta.

You will find all the necessary precautions in line with the current regulations in Italy to enjoy your visit and make it pleasant and safe.
